Britney Baffled by Millionaires Engagement Claims
Britney Jean Spears is a singer and entertainer. At a young age she entered New York City's Professional Performing Arts School and also apapeared in a number of off-Broadway productions. She was an understudy in the 1991 off-Broadway musical Ruthless! In 1992 she landed a spot on Star Search; she won the first round but ultimately lost.
At the age of 11 Spears got a spot on the New Mickey Mouse Club where she was featured on the show from 1993-1994 until the age of 13. She returned to high school for another year until joining, part-time, an all female pop group, Innosense.
Later in 1997 Spears recorded a solo demo, and was signed by Jive Records. She began a U.S. Concert Tour sponsored by American teen magazines, eventually becoming an opening act for 'N Sync and Backstreet Boys.
From 1998 into the mid-1990's Spears continued with her successful music career, releasing singles, albums and appearing in concerts, commericals and television shows.
In late 1999 Spears appeared on the sitcom Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. That same year she won Billboard Music and American Music Awards. In the 2000s she made multiple more tours, earned more awards and released greatest hit collections.
Then in 2008 Spears guest-starred on CBS's How I Met Your Mother. She received positive reviews for her part (as a receptionist) in the show bringing in the series' highest ratings ever.
