When it comes to the top league producer, Allu Aravind might be considered as the numero uno.
However, here is one man who never boasts of himself but the cine folks vouch that he is a strong undercurrent who has the potential to topple Allu Aravind if he wishes.
We are talking about the owner of the noted banner RR Movie Makers. He is Venkat and it is heard that he has bought the film ‘Oosaravelli’ for a whopping Rs 28 crores. Sources say this was an outright purchase.
Now, analysts say that with this, Venkat has shown that he has potential to shell investment more than ‘Magadheera’.
For now, Allu Aravind is top producer but Venkat is ready to beat that. The other update is that Venkat has even strengthened his network of distributors and buyers. He has reportedly brought them under his wings on a long term basis with a good business equation. Now, the cine folks and trade analysts are saying Venkat is not just a check for Allu Aravind but also for the other members of big 4- Daggubati Suresh, Dil Raju and Multidimension group. It is also heard that he is planning to set up his own theatres network.
